Do you really believe that obama ignored that the ';lipstick'; word was a highlight in Palin´s speech?

If he didn't ignore that fact, only naive people could think he didn´t mean to insult palin, if he ignored that, then we are toasted, becuse if he ignores every highlight, he surely doesn´t know that russian bombers landed in venezuela ( what´s next? missiles?, Mexico supporting russians?)

How much i miss Hillary right know :(Do you really believe that obama ignored that the ';lipstick'; word was a highlight in Palin´s speech?
based on the fact that his audience assumed he was talking about Sarah, and he didn't correct things until later, he meant to slam her. Barry couldn't have missed her remark. He is either stupid or just inexperienced. Both are bad qualities.Do you really believe that obama ignored that the ';lipstick'; word was a highlight in Palin´s speech?
Obama intentionally and delibrately used the lipstick on a pig remark knowing full well it was a shameless slam on Sarah Palin. Didn't anyone else notice how the Obama bobbleheads who were in the audience stood up and cheered immediately after he made this disgusting comment? There is no question at all that the word, ';lipstick'; is now a code word and the mere mention of the word pig was a reference to Sarah Palin.

I don't wish it on anyone, but Obama should be very careful with whatever he says since there are so many nutjobs out there who just might shoot him right between the eyes for saying this highly offensive remark yesterday. He is afterall, the first real black candidate who stood any serious chance of winning the election for President of the United States. Not to make this a racial thing. But lets face it, the world is filled with millions of crazed wacknuts more then ever before.

The man is a moron, and I predicted his eleist attitude will get the better of himself and he will say more horrible things in the future about his opoonents as we get closer to November 4th.
The actual ';lipstick on a pig'; quote by Obama:

';John McCain says he's about change too, and so I guess his whole angle is, 'Watch out, George Bush -- except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy, and Karl Rove-style politics -- we're really going to shake things up in Washington.’

';That's not change. That's just calling something the same thing something different. You know you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. You know you can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, it's still going to stink after eight years. We've had enough of the same old thing.';

And then the spin by the McCain camp and McCain himself. I am REALLY tired of the Republican lie machine.

Even McCain used ';lipstick on a pig';

McCain used the phrase at a campaign stop while referring to Hillary Clinton’s 1993 failed health care plan.

';I think they put some lipstick on the pig, but it's still a pig,'; McCain said.

So give me a break and get back to the facts. Quit trying to make Palin the poor little abused female.
Your question is as naive as you assume the voting public is after hearing the complete explanation that Sen. Obama provided when asked about it. The McCain party is firing blanks when demanding an apology for such an imagined affront. The word lipstick is not Sarah`s personal property, and plenty of other politicans have used it before, especially Sen. McCain when referencing Sen. Clinton`s health care policy. Hillary was not as immature as to think that statement was directly calling her a pig.

Grow up and get more info before basing the precious use of your vote on such ignorant emotional outbursts!
Good its about time that woman got shut up. She says the same lies over and over and over and over

Helping Obama avoid further “lipstick” blunders.?

Dear Senator Obama:

In light of the negative national attention created by your recent public blunder of using a word previously used by Sarah Palin in her RNC speech, I, a loyal supporter of yours, have decided to help you avoid further verbal or written blunders.

Please refrain from using any of the words shown in her speech in any of your future speeches or correspondence. In this way you will be able to avoid using any word that may make you look sexist.

He made the lipstick comment to insult her and he knows it.

Obama seems to think that women are below him. He treats them like they are second class. That attitude is where his MUSLIM upbringing shows most.

Lets see Obama has:

1) Shot the middle finger to Hillary.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69JVgf0io…

2) Called a female news reporter ';Sweetie'; in a demeaning way.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juy9NwI8_…

3) Obama's campaign has taken shots at Bristol Palin and even taken shots at Trig who is an infant and mentaly retarded.

Obama is full of class.

Like I have been saying right along Obama hasn't a clue as to whats going on around him or anywhere else, that's right he's clueless and since sarah palin came along he's totally losing it due to the hatred inside of him having to share some popularity with a white woman, hillary almost destroyed him but gave up too soon but sarah is a lot tougher and will finish that phony off without even trying,, Obama is finished so just sit back and enjoy his unraveling,,,// man what a loser////
No I don't think he meant it as a metaphor for Palin, he was doing the usual misinterpreting of what McCain stands for. His statement is a lie, as MccAin proposes changes in every item mentioned. But no he did refer to Palin as a pig! But it does highlight his inability to speak coherently when asked questions that are not re-arranged. He really is not a very good extemporaneous speaker.
You got it! Supposedly Putin has also threatened to put missiles back in Cuba again too. The one thing we definitely do not need right now is a wimpy president that can't think on his feet or without a teleprompter.

If we have to rely on Obama, this country is toast.

McCain/Palin '08
NO BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLES DON'T CARE ABOUT THESE SILLY ISSUE COMING FROM THE MCCAIN CAMP

I don't really blame McCain i blame the NEWS Media and Pundits who is continuing to do a Disservice to the American peoples by continuing to put this nonsense on the airwaves day after day instead of reporting and writing about the real issues that this country will be facing in the coming months and years .

OBAMA/BIDEN 2008
This whole controversy is a GOP engineered distraction to keep voters and reporters from finding out what we really need to know about who the heck McCain and Palin are. Palin is just Cheney without the experience and as for McCain, Obama's ads are way too soft on him. You should watch the tape of McCain's contradictory statements from this website: http://therealmccain.com/

Did McCain not use that very same term in reference TO beloved Hillary?

It is a common term - it's politix and Palin is a big advocate of no special treatment. Palin is a pit bull right? She can handle it - you should too.
Not at all, just like the ';innocent face-scratch'; was not a flip off to Hilary or the shortening stance he took with his arms was not mocking McCain.

Low class.

See it at 12:15 in this video:

http://sweetness-light.com/archive/did-o…
So nobody can use the word lipstick except Palin now? Is that your point? Its ridiculous.

McCain has used the exact same phrase to refer to Sen. Clinton's policies. Were you up in arms then?
Please go to politifact.com and read the full story by the This is the site that works with the Congressional Quarterly to call both sides to account by real research and real facts.
The first answer explains EVERYTHING.

How can he go about from talking to McCain's plans to all the sudden Palin? People need to get their head out of their jackayholes, especially Republicans.
i know what u mean. we have to keep moving forward. a lot is going to come out in the media on palin.
I really didn't see the whole ';lipstick'; thing as a highlight...just more rhetoric and a very frightening thought.
I miss Hillary too. Obama is such an @ss. He knew what he was doing and did it with a twinkle in his eye.
They are all counting on the general public being complete idiots.
Great answer TODAYS%26gt;%26gt;WORLD!! Couldn't have said it better. Tired of Repub's trying to distract from the issues
Yes, I do believe it. Mc Cain used the term referring to Hilary's Health care plan, how about that
Sarah Palin called all American Hockey Moms dogs.

Now that hardly seems like a polite thing to do, does it.
His wonderfulness knew exactly what he was implying and stating, he is a lieyer you know...
Maybe Palin is a pig she was on McCain`s pork spending list until Feb. when McCain and Palin first met.
