Since Obama said in a speech today..';about lipstick on a pig';..?

how many voters will that swing over to the Reps and McCain/Palin. Why do the Dems constantly try and lose elections?Since Obama said in a speech today..';about lipstick on a pig';..?
Obama has lost his senses!

He just insulted ALL women by calling Gov. Palin a pig.

Is that the kind of change he is bringing?

It sounds like more dirty politics to me.

Isn't he supposed to go after Sen. McCain?Since Obama said in a speech today..';about lipstick on a pig';..?
Good grief! He didn't call HER a pig. It's a cliche.

And besides - from a McCain remark about Hillary's health care plan

';he said her proposal was “eerily” similar to the plan she came up with in 1993, when she headed a health care reorganization effort during her husband’s administration. “I think they put some lipstick on a pig,” he said, “but it’s still a pig.”

So I guess that would make McCain's a sexist too - oh wait a minute, I forgot, McCain already IS a sexist.

And if you judge by accepting pork barrel, I guess Palin's a pig
I';m missing the big deal. Read the sentences he spoke right before it. He was talking Bush administration and McCain. Do you secretly think she's a pig and just are mad cause you thought someone was pointing it out?

Besides, she called herself an animal with lipstick on the other night. McCain has also used the pig/lipstick saying before too. Get over it already.
Of course it is a common expression. That's why he used it. And we all know it was a reference to Sarah Palin. No politician, liberal or conservative, is going to miss an opportunity like that. They have to discredit her.

I did not hear anything about the press going to Joe Biden's church and interviewing his pastor, or scanning his expense account. MS NBC had to finally demote Keith Oberlin and Chris Mathews. Their comments got completely out of hand. Joe Scarborough was talking positive about McCain and Oberlin yelled from off stage, ';Jesus Joe why don't you get out a shovel';.

Bill Mahar said today, Forget about the VP. Lets get back to the people who are running for president.

I think its a good idea. And Obama will pay for calling her a pig.
It's an old expression that means the same thing as ';old wine in new bottles';. It's not an insult to Palin.

By the way, McCain has used the same phrase in regards to Hillary.

Are you upset about that, or are you just a hypocrite?
people need to read the whole context. He never mentioned sarah palin, he was talking about McCain talking about ';change.'; If you put lipstick on a pig its still a pig. McCain is the pig with lipstick. More of the same.
It seems that just last week Palin called HERSELF a dog with lipstick. This is a manufactured crisis. Palin isn't a Pitt Bull. The whole GOP is just a bunch of yapping chihuahuas.
';lipstick on a pig'; is a common expression. Plus he was talking about McCain talking about ';change'; when he made that comment. Keep trying...not working and not helping Palin. All this crying makes Palin look like a crybaby.
McCain has used the same saying. Once in reference to Hillary's Health plan.

Neither comment was about the women, Both were about the issue being discussed.

Grow up.
It's not a big deal, its an analogy. Second of all, Democrats play by the rules, Reublicans don't they steal elections.
Because he probably realized that he is not ready to lead.
how many times people are going to ask this question today.
It was another idiotic slip just like Pres Bush. It happens... get over it.
