Chap-stick. If you're going out you can wear a layer of chap-stick to protect and hydrate your lips and then put a layer of lip-gloss or lipstick over it. Unlike what some people are saying, I don't like to use Vaseline for re hydrating my lips because it doesn't soak in.

Some where Vaseline , I don't, some people where chap-stick I where chap stick when my lips are chapped that is why it is called CHAP stick. Lip gloss could work but that can be for certain occasions now on lip stick no one really shouldn't be wearing that especially dark for chapped that probably will make it even chappier. But Vaseline will work and chap stick!
umm i use vaseline, or medicated lip balm, b/c lipstick makes my lips less moist and very dry and with lip gloss it just makes your lips glossy for the time being and thats it, then it makes you look like a shiny red apple, so to have nice moist lips use vaseline, lip balm, or chapstick
i almost never wear lipstick, but i have a cool chapstick that has a red tint to it, so i apply that and then i aplly clear lip gloss, and it looks so pretty!

if your lips are chapped, it works so much better than the regular one
First i put on chap-stick,then i put lip-gloss on top of that.
Vaseline and if i don't have any, chap stick.
