Really, who cares but if the Cons are going to play the game it goes both ways. Can't we get to the real issues.Why is it OK for McCain to refer to lipstick on a pig but it isn't for Obama?
No, they will never get down to the real issues until forced. The McCain camp has already stated that this election isn't about issues, it's about personalities.





If this election is about Sarah Palin shooting a moose, then the GOP wins. If its about fixing the economy, them Obama wins.';Why is it OK for McCain to refer to lipstick on a pig but it isn't for Obama?
It all has to do with the context of which it is used.





When McCain used it, Hillary had not just used it in a speech and McCain used it in it's traditional form. Obama used it knowing that Sarah Palin had used it in her acceptance speech and directed the comment to Sarah in what he thought was a sly fashion. Obama is a sexist and nothing less. He took stabs at Hillary by shooting her the finger acting as if he had an itch, His campaign has taken stabs at Bristol Palin, Trig Palin and Sarah.
McCain used it as an old adlib, not referring to any specific person. Obama, used it directly to Sarah Palin, and in the next sentence referred to McCain as an old man wrapping a fish in news paper, with a reference of no new ideas. Even the press who is so pro Obama thought it was a cheap shot. I thought he wanted to talk about issues, but instead, he always puts his foot in his mouth, rather than talking to the issues. He is so thin skinned, he can't take the criticizm and whines. Good question, thanks for askiing.

Precisely! The lipstick on the pig, is a common ';phrase'; in politics. There are books written with that as a title. Its just people making a big deal, about nothing. Palin doesn't own the word ';lipstick';..
McCain was talking about Hilary's insurance plan not her. Obama was talking about Palin And when he said old fish he was talking about mcCain. Obama is a sneaky asshole.
The ';CONS'; don't want to get to the issues. They never do. Palin will do her interview tonight and America will hear the same MOOSE POOP she's been saying all along.
Maybe its related to the way that its OK for Jessie Jackson to call Obama the ';n'; word, but not for anyone else.
