Would I look old if i wear a rep lipstick w/o any gloss?or shine?

I'm 18 and i love red lipstick but nvr got the guts to wear it coz i think it suits older woman,but would it look old on me if i put on just the normal not too bright/not too dark red lipstick w/o any gloss?


Coz i do not like gloss or shine in my red lipstick..coz i thought a little gloss or shine suits teenagers better?..i have almost black hair and normal fair skin..anyway,my mum says red lipstick doesn't suit young girls at all,urgh..Would I look old if i wear a rep lipstick w/o any gloss?or shine?

No, red comes in all sides of the spectrum. Find a shade of red that suits you! Not every shade of red is for everybody!

Not wearing gloss or shine will not make you look old. You have to wear what fits your face. Everybody can't were everything.
If that's what you like to put on your lips do it as long as you feel good wearing it believe me somebody will see your beauty regardless %26amp; the beauty of that color would only add to you.. but if you're self-conscious about the lipstick other's will notice that,and you will not won't it on your lips when we feel good about ourselves that's when other's see our beauty more so go for it if that's what you want you will never know until you try it.
